Where are the adjustment screws located on the lights?
They're right on the tops of them towards the outer edge. It looks like a geared wheel in a plastic recess. Hence the use of a #1 Phillips head screwdriver to adjust.

So on the outside. I will take a look tonight.

Does anyone know a source for the hated startup sequence?

Also, it seems from pictures that the cornering lighting is much better with these than stock (XLT). Does that jibe with those who have installed them? I recently did a fair bit of [night time] neighborhood driving where they had deep ditches, and I realized that my corner lighting is pretty dismal.

To my understanding the start of sequence has something built into the headlight housings. As for Corner lighting I have fog lights that help out with that

The sequence is built into the boards inside the housings on both the LUXX and the NOVA line.

These headlights provide significantly improved width over stock XLT and even coverage in general is better in my experience.

I have Baja designs squadron amber LED's - inclement weather and the beam dispersion is outstanding. I leave them on all the time.

I see that I phrased this very badly. Does someone have a video of the startup sequence? I would like to see how obnoxious it is.

Thank you.

I appreciate your feedback. Which ones do you have?

I replaced the stock fogs with the Baja Designs Squadron SAE-Compliant Off-Road Amber LED Fog Light Kit, which I used FORScan to make into DRL so that they are on all the time. Maybe I am aging but they don't work as well as ditch lights as they do on my motorcycle. I do love the visibility they provide and for sure I can see my wife coming in the truck to pick me up from half a mile away. Unmistakable.

On the fog lights it really comes down to beam pattern. For example I have the Morimoto fog lights. The width is nice but it does project much forward

Thank you very much! Your YouTube-Fu is better than mine. I kept finding Toyota videos and wasn't sure they were the same startup or not.

I showed my wife, and she asked "why would they do that?" Then she said, "I won't see this anyways, so I don't think they're really that bad." Fair enough.

I feel like the Baja Designs Squadron fogs are the same. At night I can see that greenish light on the back of trucks a half mile away. Maybe the stock location in the bumper cuts off the width.

I am hoping these Alpha Rex will add a little width in addition to intensity.

Well, got the NOVA and had them installed. I like them.

Yesterday we left at 1am for a BBQ run to the #1 In Texas. Had a couple hours in pitch black. The light was bright and even. It felt like a decent upgrade. Maybe not as bright as my motorcycle head+driving lights, but good enough that we saw the deer in plenty of time.

I made a video this evening of the unlock and start sequence.

I have an XLT and I'm interested in these headlights. I understand that since the XLT does not have a dedicated DRL you need to install the extra power cable. I do want the LED stripes to be on when the lights are off, so adding this cable is an acceptable solution; however, I'm not an electrical guru and if I do this, I want to do it right. Has anyone here installed this extra power cable? Do any of you have directions on how to do this? It said something about adding a fuse to the box....how do you do that? Any pictures or videos on how to add this power line to the truck, I would really appreciate it.

I have dont the install on my truck and i can say that this is the easy part!! All you have to do is use tue harness they give you and go to the power fuse in the fuse box under the hood. Easy to access and easy to do
