Man I am getting 16 around town. would probably go up some if I didn't run the AC. But wearing hearing aids makes not doing so a pain in the ass with the windows rolled down. but then I am also still breaking things in at 1400 Miles

I find it hard to believe some actually are getting north of 25mpg with these trucks, Premium octane included. That means they are getting 500+ miles per tank, and unless you have a stiff tail wind, I don’t see how that’s possible.

So for those that post 28-29mpg, what are you running (mods) and what percentage city/hwy?

FWIW my stock 2022 Ranger gets a maximum of 487 miles or < 500 per tank, unless I drive it until the truck stalls out maybe.
Been lurking this forum for months. Caught this thread trying to find feedback on the big mouth ram air scoop.

The best avg MPG I have gotten in my truck is 31.1mpg. With that said. I am also in the Charleston SC area like another user. That was achieved by filling up. Driving apx 2 miles to I-26 then running the interstate at 65mph on cruise. Exiting at the airport and then cruising at 45 down Aviation for another 2-3 miles. As soon as I get into city traffic that is gone.

My truck is a 4x2, tow package, no performance mods, just a leer soft cover on the bed and a Armordillo brush guard/push bar up front. Tools and some gear in the bed. Mobil 1 full synthetic and wix filter, paper filter in the airbox. 87octane E10 gas from Spinx. I did order the AFE intake and big mouth scoop to see what they do for me.

I got it in November after a major car accident where I got hit by a distracted driver and it only had 3100 miles on it. I'm closing on 8000 now. My driving style has been more cautious since my accident, the guard up front was more of a I dare you to hit me move. I have the ASS on all the time, and I use cruise control anywhere I can. My combined average is usually around 27.5mpg.

Here's a pic from from Jan 20 when I was talking to a friend who was adamant I got a Jeep gladiator. I was slowing down to a guard shack and snapped the shot.

Premium Fuel, FPP Tune, CV Fabe hot pipe, roush intake, pedal commander on 285/70-17’s with no front air flaps from the fx4 package and I avg around 21.5 in the summer and 19 in the winter. I would imagine when if I had stock wheels on there if I would be up in the mid 20’s hovering around 25ish. Factory I was getting around 22.5, with a long hwy trip from MT to AZ I got 35.7 hand calculated.

I did several times since it was very far fetched but MT to AZ you lose alot of elevation so you are essentially driving “downhill” on my way home I was lucky to get 19…..so theres that. Hahaha
