Just installed an AFE Quantum Intake to compliment my Big Mouth and Magnum Scoop. Pics below for comparisons.

How are you liking it so far? Notable differences?

So far so good. I’ll be interested to see if I get any more mpg out of it.

It might be a coincidence but it feels like it doesnt lug in high gear and low speed as much as before. Almost like it was starved for air and I opened up its airway some. Although its hard to say at this point

I see you cut open the cover like I did for the big mouth. You should add a strip of foam to the driver side of the opening to direct all the air to the intake. And I honestly didn't expect to gain anything with this CAI since I already had a K&N in the stock box but I picked up 1 mpg. Performance wise I felt no difference.

I saw on a thread once that the bi-turbo diesel cowl fits and it doesnt have a big block restricting airflow to the magnum. Hard to find one though. I also wouldn’t be opposed to cutting that hump out and filling in the gap somehow.

Look at my thread and see how a added the foam. Pushes all the air to the intake vs needlessly to the driver side.
