Was it difficult to put on?
Nope, took about 5 minutes. You just need a small flat screwdriver to pop out the 5 plastic buttons at the top of the opening, tabs on the grille line up with those holes, and put the buttons back in. They include three with the grille in case you break any but I didn't need them.

I've seen on other pages people have said it messed with the adaptive cruise control sensors but other people had it and said it was unaffected. I am a lowly STX owner and just have the regular cruise control.

I spend a lot of time on the highway and was worried about a rock flying in there and damaging the intercooler or radiator. Same reason I put bug deflectors on everything I own, to keep stone chips off the hood.

Not the prettiest install ever, yet it’s sturdy and all previous used space remains in use: wrenches, jack and all other useful items in the rear floor bins: medical kit, extinguisher, straps, tools, hatchet …

I still have to route the remote to some place of clean reach unless it will prove to be set and forget.

The volume is set to 70% considering the inputs are high level and they do come out from an already amplified signal.
Carpeting the wooden board is an option, I was concerned with the rear bench space and as you can see I ran out of black spray paint and patience.

phil we are due for a Tito update!!!!!
Hi Tony,

Tito had a big two weeks so far. He started off being interviewed by our local Newspaper and got his picture on the front page of the Thursday online summary. He also showed the reporter and editor how tortoise pee and then poop...Sheesh. Then Tuesday he boarded our Alfa Motorhome for a 4 hour ride to Flagstaff. It is well known that car rides invoke the tortoise bowels. Tito did not disappoint...he pooped his way to Flagstaff. He got rid of about 6 months of brumation (Like hibernation). Then today he took a ÂĽ mile explorer through the RV park. He got his picture taken by several women (He is a chick magnet!). I am on a different computer so do not have access to the Newspaper on line blurb.

Best,

I put some ditch lights on. Wiring them is a job for another day.

These come with 6 different color trims. I may switch to black. They are cheap ($70) Tractor Supply lights but a guy I know has 6 on his Tractor/Mower and gave them good recommendations for his rough use.

They have connectors out of the lights about 5 inches long and another two that connect to the lights. I have to use my own wire for the rest.
