Just filled up my first tank after the dealership’s free tank. Averaged 24.2 mpg on the free tank according to the system, but I downloaded Fuelly to get a more accurate calculation for my first “real” tank (using 93 octane).

Just refueled for the first time, 23.8mpg calculating by hand. Not sure what the truck mpg said, didn't realize it resets with the tripometer.

If you only reset one of the trip meters, the other will still have that info. I always reset Trip 1 at fillups and leave Trip 2 untouched for the life of the vehicle. Gives me a quick glance at lifetime mileage, avg speed, and engine runtime. Fuelly is nice for a more accurate value, but the truck is close enough for a general answer.

Well, I HAVE had it drop to 22.7. So, I DO live on the edge at times!That's really good gad milage. You need to put your foot into it more. lol

I don't think reading the computer on your vehicle randomly is a real accurate assessment of the actual mileage over the life of your vehicle under all conditions. I know mine starts out lower after a fillup and reseting the computer until driven a ways. I have kept an accurate record of my mileage almost since my truck was purchased.

95% of my work commute, 25 miles each way, is interstate with the cruise set to 77mph. I average between 19 and 21 mpg depending on the temp outside. If it's cold out, mpg is lower, the first 10 miles every morning at 5:30am, the mpg sucks. All winter long, the mpg sucks. A few months of summer and it seems to do well. Now, if I take the back roads and stay around 60mph, I can get 24-26mpg pretty easy, but I choose to take the fast way to work.

3rd fill on my new 2019 Ranger Supercrew at 1800 km. Mileage getting better with time. Now getting 12.6 L/100 km (18.7 US MPG, 22.5 Can MPG). Mostly around the city, couple of short runs to the country. I don't reset the mileage on Trip 1, which would reset the consumption. Calculated = 12.6, Truck dial = 13.0. I drive conservatively, never use the Sport range. Frankly I'm pleasantly surprised. I was skeptical and expected worse mileage. This is a bit better than my Jeep Trailhawk was. I can live with this until they invent zero carbon hovercraft.

Just got back from Iowa and drove up and down I35 back here to Texas... got 19.5 average on the entire trip... going North with the wind at my back I was up in the 21-22 range. Coming back was high 18s/low 19s.
