Thanks! I thought I remembered seeing a picture of that rubber flap, but overlooked it in SN13's post when I went through it again. I guess I need to take the whole cover off to be able to lift up that front edge and pull that rubber out. See what I can do about it this weekend.

Quick addition for those buying / installing the Leer 350.
1. They have added some shims to the fasteners to ensure a tight fit. The channel is not even, so don't be surprised if you are using different combinations be of shims. The section nearest the cab was wider than by the tail gate on mine.

They work well, and come is various widths to ensure it matches with the gaps.

2. For those of you with a factory drop in liner, you will need to cut a small notch to the bed liner closest to the cab to get the needed clearance for the side rails. See below. First picture is the before, where the rail doesn't slide far enough back. Causing the cover to sit too far back. The top of the side bar should line up with the plastic bed tops. Here is is about 3/4 to far back.

Here you see the notch added to allow the side bar to slide all the way to the metal bed wall.

Cover is installed, works and looks great. Heavy rain is coming tomorrow so we can put it to the test!

Test freshly after installation with 3 inches of heavy rain and wind here on the coast. 98% dry. Some water in the cab side corners where the large gap in the bed exists. I'll need to do what everyone has done, and place some flashing to fill that gap. Additionally, a few drops at the tail gate gap. Both common to the Ranger. Completely dry at the top of the cab side seal and the tailgate top. Very happy with dryness and functionality.

Yeah mine leaks at cab corners where outside seal is.
The outside seal is actually to short. When the cover is installed there is more of a gap on one side.
I need to get some foam and shove it in the gap from the inside and help it seal better.
The bulkhead design on the truck is fkn stupid why not just make it flush with the bed sides. They know people are going to put covers on the bed why make it difficult.
