This video popped (or should I say pooped up @veedubtuner?
) on my feed about the 10R80 transmission. Funny because everything he says to do is what we all here have figured out on our own. While reading through the comments I found one odd comment on how to reset the adaptive learning for the transmission. It does sound strange and way too easy to be true but hey it's the internet so it must be true.
Anyone else ever heard of this or is it BS?

It depends on what you're trying to solve. If you are trying to fix the gear hunting, you just need to swap out the EGR sensor. If you want to reset the adaptive learning, you can try this.. While in park, turn the truck on without starting it and hold the gas pedal down for 10 full seconds before turning it off. Once off, hold the pedal down again for 10 more seconds. Once you've completed these steps, take the truck out for a spirited drive. This will reset the adaptive learning and you should see an immediate change in the trucks personality.
