in all my years of driving numerous vehicles, cars and trucks alike, I have never once found a need for the wipers to be on the highest speed setting. And I live in the PNW. Where are you getting these downpours that require such wiper speed ?

Tornado outbreaks in the midwest required some serious wiper speed. Not to mention a lack of brain cells to be out on the roads.

Anyone else feel like the fastest setting
For the wipers is a bit slow during hard rain/downpours?
Every other car I’ve owned seemed to have
Higher speed at max setting.
That’s something I noticed when I got my Ranger as well. It rains a lot here, and our street lights are pretty non existent, so a higher speed wiper setting would be helpful. My friend think’s it’s ludicrous to have a wiper on more than the mid setting even during a downpour and gets irate if you let it go 2 swipes before turning it down when the rain eases a bit. So I guess everyone has their “way of wipes”.

These give the best "wipes".....
When you gotta "wipe", you might as well "enjoy the wipe"...

I think the blades top speed is fine. It also seems like a massive PITA to try and speed them up. I would recommend, like others, rainx products.

They tend to be the most entertaining.
After oil threads of coarse.
