Been having an issue with the seat bottom cover bubbling up on my 22 XLT Tremor with the 302A ( heated seats) package. These are the vinyl seats with the Miko suede inserts. Started pretty much immediately after taking delivery 2 years ago. Am now on the fourth cover /cushion replacement and wondering if anyone else with this specific seat arrangement is having issues.

Bumping this to see if there’s anyone else experiencing this. Now on their 5th try to resolve this. Last fix made it about 1K. Ready to ask for a complete new seat.

Pics would help.

What do you use to clean the seats? Have your tried using a different product?

Haven’t had a chance to clean it yet. On its 5th seat cover in 20K ( all covered by warranty). Has been doing this since new. Pictures are hard to show but what’s happening is that the seat cover seems to develop something like an air pocket. Imagine pressing down on the seat cover and it moving down at least an inch plus before making contact with the cushion.

Do you carry your wallet in your back pocket? That might be the cause.

It's the design of the Cushion Itself, that is causing it, as the sinking of the cushion when you sit in the seat causes the cover to stretch.

I suspect the Vinyl Stretches worse than the Lariats Covers

The Factory Cushions are DESIGNED to SAG, I have tried everything to eliminate that sinking feeling with no luck - I am in process of working on a final (end) solution after Upholstery Shop modification to dial it in on the comfort.
I have had my cushion replace 2X by the dealer and the Seat Base, NO HELP, so I bought another complete Cushion/ Cover/ Heater Mat Assembly to play with.

Unless you modify the Cushion - (Higher Density Foam) you will continue to have cover issues unless you switch to cloth.
There are no other options for Cushions (From Ford) - you will have to seek an Upholstery Shop for help.

Thanks, that’s what I’m guessing will have to happen unfortunately. Not uncomfortable for me just annoying that it’s happening. And can’t imagine what it will look or feel like if I just let it be. Funny that the passenger seat hasn’t had any issues with my wife’s seat time being easily 10K plus of usage.
