2023 Weather Check

With summer approaching we just hit our first triple digit day today @ 102 but the mornings are still nice with low to mid 60's so it's not to bad yet. This has been one crazy year where we've had a record cold winter and record rains. This spring has been all over the place too where a few days will be 80/50 then a couple days will be high 90's/60. This week it's back to nicer weather with low to mid 80's and low 60's.

Annie's in Chicago for the past 2 weeks and it's still freezing there and they had a touch of snow last weekend. ? How's everyone else weather been across the country?

We are actually having a Spring this year. 50’s at night, 70’s & 80’s during the day. We did have one day that was 90. It’s been great! We usually skip Spring & go straight to Summer, so this is a nice change.

That's how the last few years have been here too. A couple nice days in the 80's then right up to triple digits. I guess global warming is taking a break this year.

Been anywhere from mid 20s to mid 70s here in SC Nebraska. Freaking winds are nasty this year. Yesterday had 55mph gusts...........today mid 40mph gusts........high 50s today but spose to warm up this week!

We’ve also had a good bit of wind lately. Nothing horrible though. Today was very windy for some reason.

We have a saying up here.......when the wind is strong out of the north........South Dakota blows and Kansas sucks!...............Vice-versa when the winds are out of the south!

The Sierras will receive some additional snow and snow/showers this coming week. The valley here was hot the last couple of days but next week it will be in the high 60s.

We went straight from winter to summer - 40s and rainy and then in a couple of days we spiked up to 90! Next week is a bit more "spring like" however. The last couple of years it has seemed like we haven't had much of either a spring or fall - this year is continuing that trend it appears.
