I'm glad it's delayed.....I'd rather wait and hope for the best on these prices. Sadly, it's probably going to be a number of years before dealers have stock enough on their lots to actually negotiate prices again. Right now it's name your price just about.....
The days of acres and acres of vehicles sitting on dealers' lots are drawing to a close. It's a NA phenomenon. EU dealer inventories are minimal, the majority of units are ordered by individuals; in Japan, spot deliveries are unheard of. All mfrs including Ford are shifting away from stocking huge numbers of units, and moving toward customer ordered vehicles. Finance and insurance costs, and the traditional model year-end fire sales are a drag on profits for the dealers as well as the mfrs. I heard that before Covid, BMW could put an EU consumer in a 3-Series in as little as 3 weeks, order to delivery.

If they can speed up deliveries. Spring of 88 after basic and AIT, I custom ordered my first new vehicle and got it in three weeks. The current rate is crazy slow.

Pretty sure it hasn't changed, no? My 2021 stated 68L despite de US version always listing 18gal. Could be the reserve (~10L) can't be listed as capacity here?
My '19 owner manual say 18.8 gal or 71.2 L.

The '23 Order guide say 18 Gal or 68 L.

Seems like all the order guides say 18gal/68L and all manuals say 18.8gal/71.2L.
Heck, even the 2022 still lists 18.8gal/71.2L in it's manual yet the order guide shows the simplified/incorrect values.

I'm honestly more pissed at the fenders and spindles being cast iron/steel rather than aluminum. Don't doubt they would stoop so low but the inconsistency seems to be present in the 2019 order guide as well, so who knows...
