well that stinks. so with inflation and dealer markup what would have bought a raptor in 2018 now buys a lariat ranger.
My Sport as equipped costs $36,760 now (without destination charges). Without adding my rebates and trade in it was $33,190 in 2020. I think they cancelled all the rebates too.

So to get down to the $29K I paid I'd either have a 2wd base with no options or get a Maverick.

its a mess. in my mind the point of a maverick was a "truck" for folks that need a lil more utility than an cuv /suv but on a tight budget. when the bronco sport and maverick were in the low 20k range i found them interesting. I wonder where they 6th gen ranger will start msrp wise? high 30s for a base.

has there ever been a year where they didn't increase the base MSRP?

All their manufacturing cost goes up, rubber alone covers most of that cost. I don't like to see it, but that's the way it works. I don't understand the upset.

Has there ever been a year where everything hasn't increased in price?

except Arizona ice teas of course.

Yes its an old thread, but those did go up in price. They are the same price but not 24 oz anymore. So technically cost per oz is up.
