I have picked up a "thump" in what seems to be in the rear end. I could be transmission but not sure. When I come to a stop, I feel a thump or bump coming from the rear. When I begin moving again it can be felt at times too. Anyone else experienced this? It's not bad yet, but annoying. Thanks!

I suspect practically all of us have, or have had that thump. There are several threads that have to do with driveshaft thumps and transmission thumps. Fixes range from driveshaft lube to one-piece shaft replacement.
Good luck.

Sounds like drive shaft lube. Mine is ready for its second time. Apparently, it is going to become a regular maintenance item every 30k miles. I've read that other grease options last longer than the Ford spec grease. I still bought the ford spec grease to do it with again. Scheduled for as soon as I get back from vacation.
