A couple things: To me it looks like the rake on my 2021 is less than the rake on previous years. Does anyone know if that’s accurate? Also, I don’t want to completely level the truck because I do haul with it some but I’d like to take some of the rake out of it. Any suggestions on the best way to do that? Honestly kind of new to upgrading/modding vehicles but I’ve fallen in love with this Ranger and the itch to play with it is strong lol.

Maybe bilstein 5100's for cheap solution, I think fox 2.0 suspension is preset and they don't recommend changing it. I am sure others will have better solutions. I haven't messed around too much with leveling/suspension.

I have the Fox 2.0 I run it at it's preset height of 2" lift, Fox has no issues with adjusting. But the spring must be compressed to do so.

I installed the global multi leaf packs in the rear. Lifted my FX-4 about 3/4", which restored some rake for truck duties.

Edit: '21 suspension is exactly the same as previous years, with the exception of the Tremor package.

I have Bilstein 5100’s on the front and back and love them. On the front, you can choose from five settings from stock to 2.5” (I think). I have mine set at 1.2” and a rough measurement indicates I still have about 1.25“ of rake. I also carry weight in the bed regularly, so I wanted to keep some rake.

What is your ride height delta from front to back ? . . I also wanted to reduce some of the rake on my tremor and opted for the ranger lifts 1" spacer. The delta on mine is about 2 1/2", I wanted to reduce it some while still being able to load the bed and not be nose high. As others have mentioned adjustable front coil overs are also a great option & leave you the ability to adjust up to 3" or so. . .the work to install is basically the same for spacers or coil overs, if I had a non tremor I would go the coilover route.

Hi Mathew,

I went from bone stock to 2-1/2” level kit based on what I saw here in the forum. That seems to work for most people looking to level their Ranger and they’re super happy with it. However, I’m not most people and it didn’t work out as well as I had hoped. I have a canopy on my SuperCab and it’s fairly heavy, heavier than a SuperCrew canopy, so my front end was still in the air a bit more than I liked. Not much, but enough.

I recently swapped out my level kit for the Fox Performance 2.0 kit. It comes preset at 2”, which worked out great for me.

I’d say it’s pretty much dead-set level. So, a good rule of thumb might be to go with 2-1/2” if you have no topper and don’t haul or tow. But, go with 2” if you have a topper or haul heavy loads in the back or tow. Make sense?
