I just simply removed with a breaker bar and gently tapped the end while letting the knuckle hang, and it pulled out easy enough. When you reinstall be sure you twist it while you push it in, you will feel it when it is properly installed. Also, My wrench only goes to 150ft lb. I maxed it out and went another 1/4 turn until I could have the dealer torque it when it was getting aligned. It was close, and safe to drive to a dealership in my opinion.Do you just press it out of the hub and press the hub back on when you’re done? What is the torque spec for the hub? I remember on my old truck it was like 180 ft/lb. I’ll have to make sure my torque wrench goes that high. Heck, I only weigh 180 lb.
