Hello folks

Just received my 2021 ranger in 2022 and i am looking for headlight upgrade. Need quality and and distance can someone point me in the right direction?

I went with alpharex because I was looking for some sexy daytime running lights, which don't come on an XLT. There's a lot of info on these in this forum. They include distance as well

Looks great nice rig. I am looking for something with distance and minimal glare. I viewed this video and hope someone has some of these bulbs.

Welcome to the Ranger family. You have a few choices now with aftermarket offerings.

They offer 3 different styles with pricing tiered.

Now you may find others out there but they’re most likely for rest of world Rangers and do not fit ours properly.

Bulbs are different for aftermarket as well. Our halogen size does not fit aftermarket units above.

Grab a pair of LED take offs from a lariat.

Those can cost as much if not more than the ones I listed above. That’s from the junkyard stock or eBay.

As others have mentioned the Alpharex and Morimoto make good lights for the Ranger. Now if you would prefer not to pay that price I would suggest replacing the bulbs with PIAA Xtreme White Plus bulbs. Yes they cost a bit more than the average bulb but they will last compared to other broght halogen lights and give better light compared to factory.

Here's how sexy you can jazz up your XLT. But you gotta pay if ya wanna play! No disappointments with the Luxx LED's.
I wouldn't waste your time and money on just bulbs.

Please don't.

LED bulbs in Halogen reflectors are no good for other drivers.

Perhaps you can supplement your Halogen headlamps with a good LED driving light like Baja Designs, or Doode Dynamics. Cheaper than aftermarket headlamps, doesn't blind others if aimed correctly, and improves your vision. This approach worked well for me in my previous Halogen lighted vehicles.
