Hey all,

I searched for posts on the problems I'm having but not sure if my issues are similar.

I'm getting a vibration when the truck is cold coming from either the transmission diff or axle. It happens between 55 and 65KMH (~40 MPH). It goes away completely when the truck is driven and completely up to temp.

Does anyone have an idea what it could be? It's currently at Ford being looked at but they say it doesn't happen to them.

****UPDATE****

I talked to Ford today & they are rebuilding my transmission. They haven't told me what exactly is wrong yet, but it's under warranty!!

Frozen tires. Check the tire pressures. I get vibrations after it sits for a day or so until they turn round again.
Or snow/ice buildup in rims.
Start with easy stuff.

Pretty common on our transmissions to shift crazy ? when cold...
I saw the threads about that, but I'm getting vibration while driving. Wouldn't that be different?
