Drinking beer really cold is good...if you're drinking beer that it's better not to taste too much. :ontheloo::beer::puke:

Hi Anthony,

Well...you know the old saying from my British sportscar days.... The English drink warm beer because they all own Lucas refrigerators!

I feel better about getting the initial year 2019 when I see that there are no significant changes in the 2020 other than price. If red had been available I probably would of gone that route, but I am happy with the Grey Manalishi.

I think the Ranger is the top truck!
Hey, Ranger is the top truck in the mid-sized field already, but, yes, we are looking for a breakout model with the next generation Ranger and, obviously, with the 2020, we are not there yet!

I also feel better about having bought in 2019. I took delivery in mid-August and I kept having that nagging feeling that if I had waited a few more months, I could have bought the 2020 with all kinds of options and improvements. But here we are with the 2020 Build and Price, and it is essentially the same (great) vehicle....

Might be an eight year old design (which is totally fine by me) but the drivetrain and tech is nowhere near that. I knew as soon as I drove it that regardless of the ROT Ranger, this one had everything I could need (CarPlay, led head/fog lights, etc) and a blast of a drivetrain to boot. New stuff will always come but I couldn’t be happier. For that reason, I’ve been completely comfortable investing thousands into mine to build exactly what I want to drive for years to come.
Hey, Tyler, I totally agree. The design is cool to look at, and whether one likes it or not is a matter of opinion (I do like it), but it is the drive train, the tech, and the B&O music that make this truck such a pleasure to drive that it even makes me look forward to going to work!

Given the very minor changes from 2019 to 2020 I bet there won't be much fundamentally different about 2021 either. I can't imagine them making big changes in 2021 just to turnaround and release the "all new" 2022. I am sure there will be cosmetic changes and shuffling of packages but it wouldn't surprise me if innovative changes are being reserved for the all-new model.
MY 23 (CY 22). So still have the 21’s and 22’s in this body style.

Hard to believe that the tooling on 5G would have been amortized by CY22. Would not be surprised if the next version is just a new nose on the vehicle. May be more extensive that just a nose but would think the chassis will stay basically the same...Just my opinion as I am not hearing much from my contacts inside the company about a huge program...but if it is being done off shore by the Aussie's maybe it is indeed a ground up new vehicle.

Friend from Driver Assist at Ford will be in Phoenix in late Jan and usually brings a prototype down to the house for a weekend visit...will see if he has any inside info to offer...

If the past is any indication, Ford won't change much for many years. Might as well get used to it. My first was a 1994, my second a 1998. and my third was a 2010. That's 16 years of virtually the same truck, save minor tweaks for safety requirements. I used to get highly amused anticipating what Ford would do to the grill and tail lights for the new restyle.
