Hello, I was looking underneath my truck today and noticed the two rubber bushings (cab mount?) look like this. This doesn't seem normal to me. Can anyone tell me if this is acceptable or do they need replacement.

Edit: truck has about 135k, these have never been replaced. It was in an accident (not my fault) and someone caused some frame damage. Probably last time they were looked at.

Excellent. Thank you for responding so quickly. I will look elsewhere to see what needs to be replaced. I do have a creaking sound from my front end, which may be ball joints.

That last response just begs for one of us smartasses to make light of. I'll let someone else fill in the blanks.

Seriously though, I think I would have asked the question about the mounts as well. This is how we become better informed. Not smarter, just better informed!

I made it too easy and wasn't even thinking!

I initially thought it seemed odd the insulator didn't sit flush I guess but I'm glad it's normal, I won't replace it and save some money.
