Pretty sure that was what was installed in the cutout. I've never tested it but the shop said it all was functional - I haven't had reason to doubt them.

They've changed names since I went there but look the same.

Hi all, curious to know if anyone has towed a travel trailer with these models, and how well the transmissions hold up. looking to tow in 5300 lb dry weight range, any experience, suggestions in hitching in as far as weight distributing hitches if needed. thanks in advance.

Had about 8000lb hooked up here between the rocks and trailer. Hardly noticed it was there, even off road in 4x4 bumping through roots and mud. 5300lb should be no problem for you.

Did the same thing with dirt and per wheel barrow weight estimates. Its the frontal area that causes issues. I towed my load like it was nothing. Braking was an obvious issue.

For the record the load capacity of the trailer is like 2300lbs haha. Trailer looked fine tho.

12ft tandem axle? nah it can hold a lot more than 2300lb! the trailer itself weighs that much

Edit: yeah...I broke the uhaul rules for sure, but the trailer was fine

How wide is your TT? Mine is about the same as yours in terms of weight, but it's 8' wide. Debating trading my F150 for a Ranger due to limited garage space among other things.

How it fit in the garage was one of the main reasons I did not get an F-150 as well
