I thought it!
Wasn't gonna go there but I DID think it!
Hahahahahaha!
I had to - it was just hanging out there, begging to be pointed out. 🤣 🤣

I have had this exhaust system since December 2019 and love it, it's called borla exhaust. They are the manufacturer for these exaust sytems...

Now this would be purely cosmetic vs. the performance exhaust. And while it looks quite nice, I only look right there maybe 3 times a week. I often put the key in without looking. So if I look at it that infrequently, how often do any passengers even notice?

Anyone have pics of this installed? Curious about the muffler being rotated 90 degrees from the borla s-type, which from my understanding is the same system.
I have the black tips M-5200-RA23SB:

Yeah, but we all like a little bling, right?

;)
I have red ring on mine. I had trouble finding it quickly when I just got the Ranger, but I'm not sure if it's helped much. lol

I guess the difference is the price of the bling.

But you have to admit, it is clear that Ford omitted "something" to go around the ignition lock set on the early 5G's

I'm all in with a replacement stainless exhaust when the time comes. But my expectation is durability and not performance or "bling factor".

On my previous 03' Sport Trac it did not take long for the stock muffler to rust out. I think it was around 50-60k miles. I put a Gibson cat back in. Nothing special, no bling.

Heck you could just install a split pipe tip on the stock exhaust if you want bling and nobody would notice the difference.

I’ve seen this sticker before what is that?
I thought for sure you would know because of your sticker - you do know what your sticker is, right?

I take it all back. That Ford Performance exhaust is a good deal.

Gibson is asking $800 for thier basic replacement....and it is mostly 409 Stainless.

Would you get it again or something else if you had the choice?
I wouldn't for the full price, but for under $500, yes.

Mine, yes. They had the wakaba/shoshinsha mark(new driver sign) when I grew up in Japan in the 80's. Other stuff I've seen only online. I've seen the senior driver mark also online, but I learned of it just few years ago & it looked little different.

They changed the senior sticker to the one above because the earlier one (autumn leaf) could mean fallen or dried leaf. This one has all seasonal colours - not so “insulting”.
