More than likely going to do a "tune up" on the truck soon, if I don't trade it in first.
I'm at 92,000 miles
Couple questions:
Stick with stock motor craft plugs? Anyone know the part number.

Change the coils as well?

Any real difficulty in removing the plugs?

Anti seize yes/no? Electric grease I'm guessing?

Clean the mass air sensor? I had a can of the cleaner in my storage unit and that made me think of it.

Clean the throttle body?

Seafoam?

Anything I'm missing, plan on getting all the drivetrain fluids done at once if I make it that far.

Everyone has their opinions on sparkplug brands.

I went to the parts store and got a set of NGKs replacements for the Ranger. Stock motorcraft works fine to.

No no need to change coils unless you are having an issue that leads to the coil being bad.

It's not difficult. The one closer to the engine bay you might need to unplug the coil to remove it. The fuel line is right above it. I leave the other three plugged in. The nut to remove them will need an 8mm socket if I remember right.

I do not use a ratchet to thread the sparkplugs in. Socket with extention and slowly thread it in. Once I'm sure it's down as far as it can go, I put a ratchet on it and snug it....it doesn't need much at all.

NGK says no anti seize. Their plugs have a coating. Some have been using anti seize for years and will continue to. If you do decide to use it, put a very small amount at the very top of the threads.. Away from the electrode. Do not get it on the electrode..... Imo... Don't use it.

I do put dielectric grease in the boot.

Ranger does not use a MAF.

I wouldn't worry about sending seafoam through the engine. I have read Ford does not recommend spraying anything in the intake. The crud that comes off can go through the turbo and damage the blades. I'd rather not take that chance.

Removing the TB isnt hard to remove to clean if you wanted to do that.
