The power station really does come in handy and right now Bluetti is having a good sale on them. If you live in an area that has outages it'll be really handy there.
I get the occasional outage, but my camper lives in my garage so I just draw on that during a power outage. A power station would get pretty low use because the camper has 100Ah of juice to work with and that'll run my fridge for several days without any recharge capacity. And I've got 240w of solar to work with so I can charge up.

Probably the only time I'd really use the power station would be when trying to power the fridge when I'm farther from an outlet, but not quite camping. That's not very often at all. So even with big sales going, it's difficult to justify.

I'm probably going to use it for work on occasion, and we already have a power station at work that I can use.

So far I have not found any Prime Day deals on 12V Coolers, although the Dometic CFX3 55-liter refrigerator is on sale at 10% off.

There are some Jackery Power Stations on Prime Day deals. My question for the experts here is how many Watt Hours are typically needed to power one of these 12V refrigerators when the truck is not running? In other words, what size Power Station do you recommend?

Looking for recommendations on a 12V cooler, fridge. Any help on a good unit would be greatly appreciated.
I had a bad experience with JOYTUS. I had to open it up and fix some of the wiring. Now it works fine but i always have a thought in the back of my head thinking it will catch on fire.

I saw some ICECO and others in the pre-prime day ads. maybe those deals are not available now?

I love my Bluetti EB 55 and they're on sale on their site. Also Setpower is having a great sale on their 12v fridges too. I think the sales all end tomorrow.

Sorry I just saw the second part of your question. I can run my RV45 which is a big fridge all day in 90+ temps and not even use 50% power from my EB55. I had it set to eco mode and to 34 degrees while in Moab, UT and it kept up just fine.

That is good to know. It looks like these run about $1 per Watt Hour or so. As long as it gets charged daily through either driving or solar, I think it makes sense to go smaller to go smaller and recharge as needed.

Thanks! So you think that 700w is sufficient for most people?
It's all going to depend on what you're intended use will be. For me it was to just power my fridge/freezer and charge some devices here and there and it's been perfect for that. If you want a longer charge time and more draw from it the EB70 is the way to go. These all have LiPo batteries which will last 8 years charging them every day and only degrade to 80%. Basically they're good for life. lol

The EB55 is 500W with a 700W max. So if you plug something in it'll allow a spike up to 700W and a constant draw of 500W.

Pretty much depending on what price you pay. Here's a really good spreadsheet from Jasonoid on Youtube which shows the most of the popular power stations and their cost per Watt. He has some really great videos for both power stations and 12v fridges.

I just Picked up a GOLABS R500 Portable Power Station, 518Wh Outdoor Solar Generator LiFePO4 online from Walmart for $249.99 That was an amazing deal but the price went back up to $389 which is still a decent price. As far as the cooler I'd have to say Iceco is the best bang for the buck now.

Thanks for all of the great info. I know that I want a fridge and a power station, but I have not had much time to research this yet. This is why the forum is so awesome!
