this thread came along at the right time. I thought I had a good solution with a Yeti Tundra 105 I purchased last year. Used it a few times and oh boy does it hold a lot of food and ice! Buying ice in the Canadian Rockies was painfully expensive. A fridge was in my sights. I was also finalizing the specs on a bed slide and wanted a better solution before I began drilling holes in the truck bed to secure that. Setpower charges $200 to ship to Canada. Budgeting for that put an Iceco within reach, because they ship within Canada. Found a good price on Wayfair, and free shipping. Ordered the VL60D a few weeks ago and it arrived today. I was surprised when I opened it and there was also a cover inside. I ran power to the bed of the truck last fall. Will connect a Bluetti AC50S and also have a Bluetti SP120 for longer trips.

That's a great unit and it'll be nice to have one with dual zones. They're so much larger once you get them huh? I opened the box and was like :surprised: this thing is much bigger than I thought. I know that's what she said..lol:giggle: You'll have to take some pictures once you get it all set up on the slide.

It is big. Almost identical in size to my Yeti. The cooler is in excellent condition and I’m going to put it up for sale.

Working on the BillieBars project and the bed slide this week. With any luck I’ll have both complete before our weekend in the mountains.

As I only plan to use it on longer vacations, trips to Costco/Sam’s, etc I went the smaller, cheaper route. I got the Setpower TC35, unboxed it and set it in the bed. I hope it lives up to the reviews.

Don't mean to beat a dead horse here but we had a Truma cooler in our Nobo 10.6 and I really loved their customer service, I will for sure buy a Truma if I ever need another 12v cooler.

The trailer we got had a piece of the trim delaminating. Man, less than 3/4" of it was just starting to come up. The RV dealer brushed it off, no big surprise. So I called Truma, explained the issue. They asked for pictures and told me they would send a new one out. It gets better. At that point, I asked if I could pay the difference and upgrade to a larger unit. They said sure thing! So I got a larger unit for about $150-200. They covered the shipping both ways too and sent the unit out before getting the original back. I just needed to give them my card number.

It worked well too, the Bluetooth Android app could use a bit of polishing but it did work properly. Just some UI improvements is what it could have used.

So yeah, give Truma a shot. USA based customer service despite seeming a lot bigger in Germany?

Hobotech just did a video on the new JP50Pro with the battery pack. I'm not sure why these Youtubers never tell you that you can recalibrate the temp gauge to get them closer to the interior temp. There's a video on how to do this but I just called Setpower and they walked me through it as mine was off about 6 degrees and now it within one.

Here's the operation video and at the 1:30 mark it shows how to adjust the temps if they're off.

Ecoflow River Pro came in a couple days ago. Charged it to full and plugged in the cooler. 18 hours later and it’s still at 87%.

Took a trip to the mountains last weekend. Plugged-in the Iceco VL60D at home to pre-chill it. Small side was set to freeze, and the larger side set to cool/fridge. Went into the truck bed at 3:00pm Friday, came out at 6:00pm Sunday. The Bluetti AC50S was down to 20%. Happy with everything other than the cigarette lighter end on the Iceco. Will be changing that out.

Just wanted to update after finally getting to use the Setpower RV45 fridge/freezer and the Bluetti EB55 power station on out trip. Both worked out great and have pretty much paid for themself with us being able to buy food and drinks and have them with us instead of eating out three times a day for a month. I never had an issue with the DC plug coming out from either the truck or the power station and this was in the back seat bouncing around while off road too.

At first I thought the fridge was going to be way to big (it is big) but it was actually the perfect size. There were times we needed to fill it up because there were no good places to shop and it also kept us from making multiple stops along the way. The EB55 kept it running without any problems and even in UT when it was in the upper 90's sitting on the back seat all day long it only used 30% with the fridge set to Eco mode. Also not having to buy ice and having soggy sandwiches were worth the price alone.

Now I'll probably buy a smaller one one when they're on sale for shopping. We usually go out to multiple places and with the heat here it's hard to stop anywhere for any length of time so we have to run right back home, dump the food off then right back out.

This just about takes up the whole back seat. lol

Thats the perfect size, Thx Sid!

? One question though....Why do you have a set of large spoons hanging from the ceiling? Never-mind I don't think I want to hear the answer.

Is this one one you have? I gotta buy it it already had a damper on it. ?

That's the one...great for bringing frozen stuff home from store...the divider automatically turns into a dual zone...albiet a tiny one lol...and of course...it's got a damper for the WIN!!! ?

get the thermo cover too...pro tip...use the AC power brick instead of direct 12V...for some reason the fluctuating power supply from 12V causes it to occasionally have fan error...with the brick, you can also quickly tap into RV camp site...
