Looking to find a coffee maker that will work in my Ranger.
tried truck accessories and amazon.
nothing looks to work. However I have found a few 12 volt 1 cup coffee makers.
anyone have or heard of one that is decent?
TIA

For years, I've tried to find one for the boat when we are on 12 volt only power. The ones they sell, the coffee is weak and not hot at all. They don't make a 12 volt coffee maker that pumps out enough power to get the water hot enough to properly brew coffee. IMO you'd be better off with an inverter hooked directly to your battery (not through a cigarette plug) and then buy a small 110 volt coffee maker.

You'll have to look up the max power draw allowed on the 110 outlet then find a coffee pot that uses less than that. I believe it's in the user manual. Might be hard to find one since heating elements use a lot of power. I would think the smaller the pot the less power it requires.

Edit: I'm not sure what your use scenario is but those old style green Thermos are excellent. My coffee will still be warm at the end of my shift
They claim 40 hours of heat retention. https://www.amazon.com/Stanley-Clas...hild=1&keywords=thermos&qid=1611160720&sr=8-5

Edit2: looks like the outlet in our Ranger is limited to 150w. A small $18 Mr. Coffee pot seems to use around 700w. The outlet only stays on for a short time after the truck is off as well.

Only use I have found for it is to plug in my laptop while I do FORScan mods.
Speaking of which you can change or disable the auto shutoff in FORScan

It’s really only good for plugging in small consumer electronics
I found this 110v totally useless. Was hoping I could use electric saw to cut wood, perhaps use electric weed eater. Cannot do anything useful like that, but I can make a piece of toast.
