Anyone in Western New York that has a Forscan set up willing to help me adjust the speedometer for slightly larger tires? (3%+/-) I'll come to you. I just don't trust myself with something like this. Zero computer abilities.
My thought was going from a stock 255/65-17 to a 245/75-17 would give me the height but that appears to be a similar jump you made: +10 on the aspect ratio and -10 on the width. Thanks for info.
I am kicking around going 245/75-17 on stock wheels. My goal was to keep the tire height around 31.5" and less than 255 wide tire. Any known issues running something less than a 255 tire on stock 17" rim? Western, NY snow and rain don't work well with wider tires.
No. I live in Western New York. We only get a couple sunny days a year! All kidding aside, there was not any at all. She is also garage kept and a second vehicle for me. Only 21k miles on it.
In case you are wonder what she'll look like with the FX4 sticker removed, here it is on a black 2019 Lariat with a Ford Fox Performance Suspension upgrade.
Tires are next! Suggestions with factory wheels and current suspension set up?
You haven't lived until you had a Zweigle's hotdog. It's a Western New York thing. They have a natural pork casing and "pop open" as they are cooked. They come in red or white.
Can anyone confirm the oil filter cap wrench for the OEM Motorcraft oil filter FL910S? I've seen 14 flutes and 15 flutes and also 73mm and 75.5 or 76mm
My opinion is the vehicle was going forward at a high rate of speed and began to drift sideways, then backwards into the tree, likely over 60 mph at point of impact. I don't think you can generate that much speed in the reverse gear, which is lower or close to first gear.
I hope someone comes up with a front mounted 2" receiver for the Ranger because this is how I would want to do it - both front and back. A permanently mounted front bumper winch gets either encased in a block of ice or killed by the salt in my area. I'd like something I could break out when...
Very possible. Also nearly impossible to troubleshoot over the phone. She declined to bring it back home because she has a hair appointment she would miss. Let's hope that's all it is!
I did specifically ask, "Did the headlights just automatically turn on?" and she said no they were still off. She had to manually turn them on to check if they were working.
My wife just called me and said all the instruments went dark while she was driving. She pulled over and turned the truck off, waited and started back up but same results. Everything else appears normal. Exterior lights are working. I am assuming she did not change any settings including the...
