So, I just received my PPE deep pan and I'm just curious if anyone has had a chance to install one and might know what the correct refill volume amount is with filter replacement?

I found a lot of information and YouTube videos about the 10R80 on an F-150, but I'd prefer to hear from someone on this forum...

Dave that thread had nothing about capacity with the deep pan. I don't have a link but it seems to me I've read on here it takes an extra 1.75 qt. Just search for ppe deep pan on here and that should find you the info you're after.

Edited to correct amount.

I knew Tony @TJC had the deep pan and thought he covered it in the other link. Good find on the correct one!

Found this in the search I recommended.

If you have a FitzStick, you can quickly and easily validate the level using the Cold Fluid Level Check.
  1. Let truck sit overnight on a level surface
  2. Start struck and shift through the gears at 5 second intervals from Park to S and back to Park
  3. Immediately check the fluid level. It should be just on the tip of the dipstick up to 1/8".
At this level, when measured at 215F, your fluid will read on the diamond between 4 and 5. This is the dead center of the fluid level acceptable range per Ford Specs.
