Drove it around today. Nice deep mellow tone. No crackle or pop. No ricer tone. Not obnoxious at all. Sounds amazing IMHO. All for $360 shipped in 304 stainless steel.

Thanks for the feedback. I had their exhaust on my Focus ST and was very happy with the sound, performance and price. Honestly I intended to buy their exhaust for my Ranger until I read so many positive reviews for the AWE cat back from others on this forum so I went with them, but paid double of what you did.

Fire extinguisher finally installed. Sticks out a little further than I like. Maybe I should have done it around the corner where the tie down is. Oh well, if it bothers me too much, I'll go back to the drawing board. My first time tigging up some aluminum. I've only fiddled with steel up to now. Not the greatest, but it will definitely hold. Guess I need to find some more projects to practice on.

With shipping and all I got it for $360. A little cheaper than most places. Still most places are $369 before shipping which isn't bad nowadays.

Exhausts are ridiculously expensive nowadays.

I am going to do a few Dyno pulls today at lunch. I have a SPD high flow catted downpipe, full SPD exhaust, drop in K&N filter, and a 5Star Tuning 93 performance tune.

I will report back later today what the little Ranger produces.

Agreed, I am happy with my AWE and really likes the dual outlets but I’m not sure that was worth the extra $360. Although they are a local American company.

The weld looks pretty good to me.

+155 crank HP and + 274 crank tq compared to factory published numbers.
320 hp at the wheel and 438 tq at the wheel.

Thanks! I kinda enjoy learning the process. Really gotta pump in the amps for aluminum, which I knew. Just didn't realize how much. A liquid cooled torch would have been nice ha.

And I got my engine cover put on. Take that lariat owners (its an xl)
