I have the Retrax as well. I like the fact that its very easy to use and deal with on a daily basis. You just have push it open and close, no hassle folding and so on. Also I like how it locks. Along with the locking tailgate, I feel comfortable keep valuables in the bed. I don't have to...
I work as a Fleet Mechanic for a Construction Company specializing in Concrete Cutting and Coring. I work on everything from small 120V surface grinders to International Diesels. Constantly busy, no matter what. Used to work as an Auto Mechanic and bounced around a number shops of the years...
In my experiences, with my personal vehicles being EcoBoost platforms over the past 6 years, the best bang for the buck has been a Tune and an Upgraded FMIC. Those 2 upgrades have served me well on a Daily Driver setup. Possibly an upgraded downpipe but I'm not sure how restrictive our OEM...
Changed my "Break-In" oil at around, 1,100 miles and following a 7,000 service interval there after. I have 6,000 miles on Shell Rotella GT 5w30 right now and just checked it on my fill up last night. Still looks fairly clean. 10,000 miles service intervals falls under "normal operating...
I'm getting about 18-19 mpg, here in SE Michigan now. Milage tanked a bit from the 21-23mpg I was getting. I just run 87 octane, I primarily just commute and dont care for getting into the "skinny pedal" unless I absolutely need to. But I'm running a small lift and larger tires as well...
Same here with me. Figured the best place to get my truck aligned was the dealer, since it's new to the market. 6000 miles after installing the lift and the alignment, my tires have been wearing very well in the front. No weird feathering on uneven wear. My essentrics are almost maxed out...
I would love to have a set off Rally Armors as well. Love buy a set in a heartbeat. I put a set of ford OE splash guards on for now. My shop has Ford Fleet account.... which helps out the pocket book.
I had the same issue with my Lariat. We got almost a foot of snow in 8 hours, where I live. I think theres ice that gets into the sensor bezel and gives it a false reading. Mine gave fault readings for 3 days even after throughly cleaning it off at a quarter wash. Once it thawed out, it was...
It's more of a "calculated risk" rather than just pure ignorance. I have a Daystar 2 inch level and Eibach 1 inch blocks in the rear. Looking forward to see if a company comes out with a front differential drop kit, to get the halfshafts back to level. With a 2 inch level, they are not that...
The video that this chart was taken from... the test was not performed with a catch can. They just vented the crankcase vapors to some other place (atmosphere or condensed and collected? Didn't specifically say.)
I ran a catch can for a very short while (was curious) and all it seemed to...
I had a Cobb Accessport on a Fiesta ST in the past. My 3 favorite monitors to run on it were;
- MAP / Boost
- Charge Air Temp
- Engine Oil Temp
How do you like the Scangauge so far?
I would tap into the accessory delay relay for your switched power. You can buy fuse taps, so you can cleanly tap into a circuit without having to mess with your truck harness. I imagine there should be an empty fuse slot, under your dash, that you can tap into for constant power as well.
I'd like to buy one of these setups. It's a pain in the ass to do a clean pill change on this setup. I ended up hold the drain plug in place to regulate the flow of oil. Was afraid it was going to go everywhere if I didn't.
It's been working today. Just always seems to act up when it's most convenient to use.... Like when I'm half awake, geting ready for work, and it's below freezing
I have an Andriod (Galaxy S9 Plus). It works 95% of the time and acts up randomly. It acted up this morning, when I tried to start my truck from my phone.
Everyonce it a while my Fordpass app will not be available on my phone, like it glitches and forgets what vehicle it is configured to. Has anyone else been running into this? I'll try and get a screenshot next time it acts up. I only use it for the remote start function.
