  1. XL/XLT halogen to LED/HID upgrades

I used Morimoto 2 Strokes 2.0's in my 2016 Fusion, I had owned before my ranger. I liked them a lot. Tried Diode Dynamics before the Morimotos and had very bad fitment issues and 2 bulb failures in 2 months. I wouldn't recommend running HIDs unless you're going to do a projector retrofit. I...
  2. How wide tread with can you go without using offsets?

I'm running an LT275/65R18 with no spacers and no rubbing on stock wheels.
  3. Still searching for shimmy resolution post lift

I have noticed that I can feel the vibration from the engine, throughout the drivetrain, after moving to larger tires. Recalibrated my tire size with a Hypertech speedometer tuner and it seems to help a bit. Most noticeably when the trans tries to hold gear, under light load and low rpm. BFG...
  4. Cold air intake

So, your engine is getting dusted while you're waiting for your filter to foul up. Would rather save my turbo, valve guides, piston rings, and cylinder walls.
  5. Cold air intake

100% agree with the above. I had the same expearience, with a 2014 Fiesta ST I purchased new. Installed a Cobb Stage 1 kit on it (included a cobb rebrand Green Filter). After about 50,000 miles of using that green filter and cleaning it every oil change, the intake tube was dusted with an...
  6. Eibach 1 Inch Rear Lift Blocks Installed

Nice! That's a good deal for a quality looking add a leaf kit. Plus, shouldn't be too hard to go that route either, since you're not having to worry about keeping a leaf pack compressed while removing the center pin/bolt. Would be a great "kill tow birds, with one stone" upgrade if you're...
  7. Michigan FactionFab 1 inch wheels spacers

I do not, sorry. I only had them on for a day or so.
  8. Eibach 1 Inch Rear Lift Blocks Installed

Yup, I bought a 2" kit to try and retain some. But that wasn't the case. 1" in the rear was a great improvement.
  9. 589|FAB's XL Super Cab Build

Awesome work on the SuperCab! Glad I stumbled across this.
  10. Brake light wire?

Hi Bobkat, If you're still in need to help, I can PM you the wiring diagrams for the Braking System. Regards, Chris
  11. FYI: Headlight Adjustment After Lift

This is the "kind" way to align headlights. OEM LED projector headlamps are so bright now I'll even aim them a ever so slight amount down, as to avoid glaring oncoming drivers. You might as well just drive with your brights on if you don't aim them well.
  12. Eibach 1 Inch Rear Lift Blocks Installed

Installed a set of Eibach lift blocks over my lunch break at work. I previously installed a 2" leveling kit and was not too happy with the "leveled" look afterwards. Wanted to install these to add back a slight amount of rake. Pretty happy with how it turned out and adding some rake back into...
  13. Any alignment issues with coilovers?

I do not have coilovers, only a leveling kit but it's the same difference. Took mine to the dealer and they were able to align it just fine. The cam bolts on our lower control arms have quite a bit of adjustment thankfully.
  14. Rustproofing?

I'm spraying cosmoline (CRC Marine Corrosion Protector), Fluid Film, and Wool Wax. Using cosmoline on the areas outside of the frame that get blasted with salt and brine. Spraying fluid film inside of my body panels and wool wax on/inside the frame and under the rest of the truck. This is a...
  15. Can't Check Air Pressure In Spare Tire?

Your owners manual should outline procedure for this pretty well.
  16. Passenger Side Window Slow?

I have a 2019 Lariat Super Cab. My front passenger side window seems to roll up about 25% slower than my front drivers side window. Just wondering if anyone else is having the same experience? It doesn't bug me much, as long as it works and does get slower. Just on the fence about taking it...
  17. Crowdsourced Lift/Level Options for the 2019 Ranger

When I went through my spacer install, my instructions from Daystar had me remove the lower control arm cam bolts. Let the control arm drop down and hang by the lower ball joint. The strut will easily come out and a little magic with a prybar will give you clearance to get it back in, with the...
  18. Long travel desert runner

Yup, I am pretty sure...... that I really want that.....
