Nooooooo! Damn. I used to live in the ATL area (moved 3 years ago to S. Fl from there). I had put up to my friends on Facebook that I was going to be there, but no one saw it and I missed seeing a bunch of folks.
I most definitely walked right by you. I was walking the floor Fri and Sat...
Woo hoo!
I went to NRAAM in Atlanta a couple weeks ago, and let's just say, made some more industry connections.
I received a call today that my Springfield Armory Kuna ships tomorrow. I'm excited like a little kid! ?
Hopefully I'll have it in my hands before the week ends.
More work on the Mossberg project...
Stock cut down.
And out to the driveway for some Ghetto Gunsmithing.
The plan, after shortening the stock, was to add a recoil pad (it was originally a plastic butt cap), and pistol grip cap, and white spacers to make it all fancy.

I won't say one of the cheapest attempts. There are a handful out now that come in much lower quality wise (Turkish too!). When they first released thr Prodigy, they were VERY plagued with QC issues, but they got 'em running.
Aluminum cased ammo is VERY finicky in most guns. The case tends to swell and cause failure to extract issues.
Also, MOST 2011 platforms require you to pay extra for the mount plates. $120 to $200 is not uncommon.

I stripped the old, nasty, dried on cammo tape off the barrel, scrubbed it with steel wool to get...
Could be coincidental.
We bought my wife a used 2023 Bronco sport with 238 miles on it. After a couple of weeks it started giving signs the battery was on its way out. I told my wife to take it to the dealership and they were going to put a new battery in it under warranty for her.
Well they...
Here is my latest project, and Western Field 550 (Mossberg 500). I have a really nice custom Remington 870 Police Magnum that's just too pretty to chuck around, and I want something I can throw in the truck and keep in the bedroom. So I scored this for $82 plus shipping.
So far I've sourced a...
You're mostly right.
There are things you can do to "maximize your load capacity", but you can also increase your load capacity. Often, the frame and axles aren't maxed out, and PROPER suspension modifications can increase the capacity.
But typically gains aren't huge.
This subject is really...
