I would run from that block. The Ranger leaf springs are weaker than hell and have been known to bend on their own and even break. They have also been known to bend around backward over lift blocks. I'd go with the BDS lift shackles before I installed the block.

For casual off roading, I'd say it's fine. Ideally, it should probably be relocated somewhere else if you are getting into more serious trips for both ease of access and also for ground clearance in the rear. Damn, I REALLY want a swing out rear tire carrier!
