I've had some good wines over the years but not recently and now I can't remember what they were. I'd really like to go to some wine tasting events or some vineyards to be able to try different ones without having to waste money on a whole bottle. I don't like the real sweet/fruity taste or to dry. My g/f sister gave her a list of a few to try (she drinks a lot of different wines) but we haven't got around to it yet. I think it's hard to recommend wines because everyone has such different taste.I used to make my own wine but my job had me traveling too much to take care of the process. Now I just enjoy trying wines from all over.

We have some near us as well. One is about 2 miles away.
What do you prefer making? We used to do a good Malbec, also ice wine, and mead.
