I had filled up in Tucson Saturday morning instead of my usual in Casa Grande. I was at only 120 miles to E when I left my house and Costco in Tucson is only 25 miles and CG is 85 and I don't like running it that low.

Yes Chris @Chris M I'm going to brag again about my crazy good gas mileage. lol It was so good that on the way back I didn't even need to fill up because I still had another 214 M-T-E. o_O Usually I can go all the way out without using the AC but it was already 90* when we hit Tucson so the AC was on both ways and cruise control set @75 mph. This is 85% highway and 15% city. It was at 29.4 when we first arrived but all the stop n go traffic brought it back down. lol

I was getting 28.6 with AC on constant in my 550 miles runs 40/60 Interstate / Back roads.

If you keep your vehicles long term do yourself a favor and never go below 1/4 tank. Your fuel pump will last much longer. They use gas to keep them cool. The lower the level the greater the heat, and shorter the life. 1/2 tank is optimal, but it's too much stopping for me.

Just recently put 265-70/17 with Tremor wheels on her and can barely pull 21mpg at 68mph on mostly freeway driving. used to get 24-25 with the 18" rims and tires.
Tremors are EPA rated at 19 mpg City/Hwy. If you're getting 21 mpg per the computer, that's probably a lie. Hand calculate it and it will most likely be 19 mpg. You may get 21 if you're cruising at 60 mph. The bigger tires are much heavier and generate more road friction, requiring more power to accelerate and maintain cruising speed. But they sure look good and float real well in soft terrain. It's worth it.

That’s impressive, do you swap out for winter tires? Any towing?
Brian
No tire swap, I keep the Michelin Defender LTX tires year round. No towing ever.

When I sold my 2019 with 65k miles on it my lifetime mileage was 22.3, that included 5 years with winter tires on 4-5 months a year and probably 4-5k miles of towing a 7’x16’ enclosed snowmobile trailer weighing about 3k pounds.

When I put the eibach front coil overs on the front of my 2019 and went with 265/70/17 my mileage dropped about 1 Mpg.
But it looked much better.

I noticed a 1-2 MPG hit when I put my Eibachs on my 5G as well.

Mine's the FX4 so i don't have the Tremor's extra suspension lift. The Falkens are 11lbs a corner heavier than the stock 265/60/18's that came with the Splash package. But they look soooo much better! haha

What's interesting is that after switching over to larger 285/70r17 Falken Rubitreks versus the old 265 /65r17 Grabbers, is that my mph went up. From 18 to 20 now is my avg. I think there is less road resistance. I even went with wider 9" rims.
