Possible traction control issue

I have had an issue while leaving parking lots turning to the right the traction control light pops on as if I have lost traction and my driver side brake locks for a second and then releases. When this happens I hear a grinding noise and the truck obviously slows. I am not sure what the issue is I have brought the truck to the dealer and they tell me they can not replicate the issue. I am just wondering if anyone has come across this same issue.

It does that because you ARE losing traction so it tries to brake the spinning wheel. There is no malfunction other than your right foot.

Unfortunately I have had the same issue. Happens at only 1 intersection which I pass everyday on my way home from work. I can't replicate it anywhere else so I haven't bothered to take it to the dealer. I've found that if I stay off the gas a little longer and get back on the gas slower it usually helps the situation. There is something about the gradient of the intersection and the quick turn that the truck doesn't like.

See the issue here is that I am not losing traction or else I would have not thought this was an issue. It is something that keeps happening to my front driver side brake I am not sure what is happening but it happens often enough for me to think it is a problem

others have. unfortunately the search function here is about as reliable as Fordpass...but you will have to try to use it
I tried using the search function but I guess I just didnt use the right key words while searching.

The issue isn't limited to the Ranger. It's happening right now with my 2016 Canyon 4X4 (that will be replaced by my new Ranger, if it ever gets here!).

Why do you think the right front brake is applying?
I thought it was the front brake applying because I was hearing a grinding noise from the front driver side tire and the truck is lurching when this happens but now i do not believe it was the brake at all but I am not sure what it is.
lets rule out this as well....it's not in 4X4 is it?
It is in 2wd when this occurs but it feels as if the truck is trying to give power to the front driver side tire whether I am turning left or right.

It sounds to me like you are hearing the ABS pump/control (growling/grinding noise) which is trying to apply the brake to the spinning wheel. It will also reduce power to help it achieve traction. You hear it from the front because it’s located in the engine compartment.

As far as I am aware, There are TWO types of Traction control. (Maybe @P. A. Schilke can chime in)

One is the simple rear traction control that happens when your rear looses grip.

The Second is more advanced and is there to prevent spins or loss of control during a turn, and that one activates the entire stability/breaking/etc.

I've activated Rear Traction control many times due to my heavy foot and wet roads.

I've only activated the FULL Traction stability ONCE when i was trying to spin my tail in an empty (wet) parking lot and the entire truck enabled variable braking at the corners and stopped my tail-spin dead.

Sounds like you're activating the full type when you make that turn....

I have this every time I pull out of my local Starbucks. It seems to be related to giving the truck too much gas while being engaged in too sharp of a turn. If I slowly creep out from the starbucks drive then it doesn't happen. Try giving it less gas when you pull out into that turn and I would guess it won't happen.
