The 2019 I test drove was a 4x4 Lariat with the FX4 package, the ride was a bit busy but not unpleasantly so.I heard that they didn't ride as smooth as the standard version. Sure hope I don't regret my decision on that.
Congrats! I'd say a celebration is in order, hopefully, you'll have it by Christmas.Just checked the tracker and saw this.
And, thanks guys for the compliments!
Looks as though it was well worth the wait, it's beautifulMy 2020 Lariat (4x2, Saber, Sport, Tow, E-Locker) was delivered to my local dealer at 6:30 PM on Wednesday the 18th (5 days earlier than estimated) and I picked it up Friday afternoon. The dealer agreed to order the two missing tie-downs free of charge and, when home, I installed WeatherTech front and rear floor mats. Once the tie-downs are in place, it’s off to Line-X for a spray-in liner.
All doors have the door panel fold over sealant and all panel gaps appear to be even and in alignment. The sides of the hood do appear to be a bit “proud” with respect to the front fenders though. Paint looks good with no apparent defects. As delivered, tire pressures were all around 41-43 psi. I haven’t yet checked the window washer fluid.
Overall, I am pleased with the product (good job Ford) and with the “as delivered” prep work.
Thank you to everyone who contributes to this forum and thus makes it such a wonderful resource.
I sprung for the FX2 package on my soon to be delivered 2020 SuperCab after driving both a FX4 and a garden variety 4x2 SuperCrew.I placed an order late 12/20/2019 at my local dealer. I drove an Fx4 and a 4x4 and decided the suspension difference was enough that I went with the regular 4x2 w/ rear locker instead of the Fx2 like I was originally thinking.
With the 2 week shutdown I'm not expecting any info before mid January probably.
Blueovalforums confirmed MAP shuts down 12/20-1/12. Two week shutdown and extra week for prep for Bronco. With the shutdown you mention, does that apply to Michigan Assembly? If so, kudos to Ford for giving it's workers a break for the holidays.
Congrats! that is one fine looking S/Cab, as a matter of personal preference, I find the S/Cab's profile more attractive than the S/Crew.I took delivery of my 2020 supercab Ranger Monday afternoon December 30th. Drove it some today, pleased so far. A little bit disappointed that my local dealer screwed me on my trade in, 2015 Ford F-150 supercab with 19,000 miles on it. But no one forced me to do it, just wanted to get the deal done.
Hi David,Thanks, l prefer the supercab also. This has been a strange experience. They have been telling me several times that it was going to be in shortly and they were mistaken a couple of times. I am glad I got it before the end of the year. My “wonderful” state of Illinois just passed a new tax on vehicles that would have cost me anther $700 after today.
