Be sure to have the police file a hit and run accident report. They could possibly find the culprit. The insurance company will want a copy.

With my accident the driver was lying and said I was speeding and was in her lane. The police at the scene even said they could tell by the way mine was hit and the skid marks it was her fault. So I went door to door checking to see if the neighbors had cameras. Of course the one who had a doorbell camera said it didn't catch anything but it was the neighbor of the lady who hit me.

How far has that trail of coolant gone? It looks like they started dumping fluid and you can see the wet stain next to your truck turn away. Is it still stained? Man I'd be so livid I'd be scooby-doo'ing the ever living crap out of that stain with a magnifying glass and everything.

I hope you can follow the trail - or the cops can.

Not to mention this isn't just a street car, it is a truck that looks built for trails. Could a shock shaft be bent, leaf springs, etc.

Sorry, I tuned out over the weekend. Truck is actually driving really nicely, no new squeaks or squeals, tracking straight and all. I have not taken it on the freeway, and I have some towing to do which I definitely will not be doing until everything is fixed.

Whoever hit me definitely exploded their coolant reservoir, left that trail and pulled over in front of the corner house, then took off from there. My fender flare was nowhere to be found, was probably lodged under their hood

I guess neighbors with cameras may help find out who did it, no need if insurance is going to pay out anyway I guess.
