Installed PPE pan, fluid level question

Changed transfer case fluid and then installed the PPE pan, new filter and fluids. With the transmission hot (took a 40 minute drive) and on the MBS dipstick it is showing on number 4. Is that too much transmission fluid? If so I will drain a little out.
