I bought my 2020 XLT at the end of January 2021 with 136 miles on it. I’m now at about 45,100. A habit I picked up from my dad is recording gas purchases in a flip-up notebook I keep in the glove box to track gas mileage. I finally got around to digitizing all of it (so far). It’s stock except for some simple upgrades like a catch can and a transmission dipstick. Still on the factory tires, but they’re about to be replaced. It’s towed a light trailer for maybe 50 miles, but plenty of stuff has been hauled in the bed. I use 4x4 in the snow a few days per year and on grassy hills. Mostly it’s a daily driver. I drive a lot on 55 mph highways and maybe like 20-30% of my time in town.

My lifetime average MPG is 22.2788 mpg. I’ve used 2019.725 gallons, not counting whatever the dealership put in it when I bought it. I’ve paid $6,253.96 for that gas, which works out to $3.10 per gallon. I used one tank of 93 octane when it was new and the rest is 87. I live in western Virginia (rolling hills and small mountains). Here are some graphs I made and a link to the google sheet I entered it into if people want to look at it. I thought it was neat to see 5 years of real world data.

The computer always overestimates fuel mileage by like 1-1.6 mpg depending on conditions. I have never reset trip 2, so however far back that will go says I’ve gotten 23.5 mpg.

Your Ranger looks great for being almost 6 years old!

I use the fuelly app. You just input your mileage, fuel cost and gallons and it does all the work for you. It will also keep track of all your fill ups, total spent and average mpg.

Here's what it looks like after a fill up.

Also, here's a thread on how to get your trucks calculation more accurate. It takes several (5-6) fit ups and smetimetimes needs a little tweaking but mines dead on now.

I started at 944 and it was good there.

I'd be lucky to get mid-teens. That's incredible you guys. 😬
I am sure it has a lot to do with the quality of gas and weather

Wow, I'm jealous of those of you getting low 20's. I usually see (on the truck counter) 15-18 when I reset it at every gas fill up. I do see benefits when driving mildly, but usually drive in tow mode and push it hard. I have the Ford tune and level, and slightly larger tires (265/70/17's). Been using 93 octane religiously. Mostly driving semi-city (anything from 45mph zones with stop lights every mile to more city type roads). Minimal freeway use.

That is a handsome truck! Supercab in white with just the right wheels for the color. Nice!
You’re right! Those white letters facing out sure look great on that SuperCab.

I agree. It's like that truck has the "whiteout package". It looks great. I'm wondering if some of the front, like the skid plate has been painted.

Joshua, have you painted any of the front end or did it come from the factory that way?
