I feel bad for this guy and there's no way I'd want my Vette back after being repaired. Especially now having a Carfax on it which will depreciate it even more.

https://autos.yahoo.com/ownership/articles/corvette-z06-gets-first-oil-221142639.html

After bringing the Z06 in for its first oil change, George noticed something unsettling when he got home: a drop of oil on the garage floor. A quick look underneath confirmed it — the dealership had left him with a leak. So he did the reasonable thing and brought it back the next morning for them to find and fix their mistake.

What happened next was decidedly less reasonable.

While getting the car up on the lift for re-inspection, the Z06 fell off. Not a scratch-and-dent situation. Not a "we'll buff that out." The kind of fall that turns a $130,000-plus sports car into a very expensive puzzle.

A little fiberglass patch and a good wipe down with some 303 and it will be good as new !!!!!:like:
Besides, it's just a GM, so no real loss.....

When working as an auto technician- low clearance cars creates an issue in seeing the exact placement of the lift pads - for these I would place it and lift up a few inches to ensure I am centered on the true lift point. Which I assume was not the case here - slightly off and when it slipped off it pushed the arm outboard.

It’s a sad sight , hopefully the tech was not too badly hurt if under it

If I were the owner, the dealership just bought that vehicle and got me a new one. I wouldn't even accept it back after that

Look at that place. Not very tidy. No way I'd let them touch my old lawn mower, certainly not my car.
That place screams no discipline, and probably very little professional work gets done there.

The license plate should have told you that much
