Popped (checks spelling :bandit:) up in my IG feed, never seen this tool before. Now I have spent almost the entirety of my automotive addiction in the Euro Car scene, and to my knowledge (with VW/Audi) they don't have these type of clips. Now with the limited experience I now have working on the Ranger that have these clips, I have never found them to be annoying to remove, BUT....that shouldn't stop me from acquiring a new tool lol. Anyone see this before??

I got one and I find that, like most things, it doesn't work as good as advertised. I tried it on some of the clips that have a slot and it was too big to engage. Seems to work fine once the center of the retainer is popped up a bit. That being said, you can never have too many tools. Sometimes a tool works great for something it wasn't designed for.

Morgan, that looks like it just might be slower than using the usual push pin removal tool. I bet the two steps with the regular tool are quicker than lining that thing up just right. I just went through this twice on the radiator shroud - once to wire my bumper cam and again to install my baby bro truck LED grille lights.

Man, I’m faster than Johnny Ringo!

But for $10, it’s cheap enough to see if it makes life any easier.

This isnt really fair. I'm an old refried mechanic and have tool boxes full of tools
I'll bet, like me, you still have a timing light in that tool box.......
And probably an old beam type torque wrench.....
