What kind of clamps are those!? They look *quicker* than quick fists!

On tool boxes, I use two swing cases for my recovery gear and emergency supplies--quick fists mounted behind both of them for my shovel and axe. I also keep a mid size cooler to use as a general purpose crate/grocery box

They are the general purpose clamps from Home Depot for your garage to hold like your shovel or axe. They work well and only like $3 each

How well do they hold they items? Do they release bouncing down the road?

Happy with my Swing Box and at $200 a good deal.

Are the brackets for the tool box mounted under or on top of the bed rug? I just got a tool box and the bed rug doesn't seem tight enough to mount the brackets om top of the bed rug.

So the big bracket is mounted to the truck with a slit in the rug for the box to click into. Then the bracket at the front the smaller bracket is on top of the rug and put a small hole for the bolts in the rug.

Those that got DECKED! Did you notice any difference in gas mileage from the increased load in your bed? Doesn't the DECKED system weigh around 200 pounds empty? The decked system looks like it covers the tie downs toward the bottom of the bed. Do you still have tie downs with the DECKED system? Thanks, John

The Ranger is a truck. Fuel mileage when empty was the decision maker. You've seen my photos, Decked, Softtopper, ladder rack, tools. After all that it still gets good fuel mileage and gets worked/scratched

Thank you, confirmed what I was thinking I needed to do.
The Decked is ok. It takes some tweaking of the drawers to be useable. It's gonna be much better with the D-Bag
