You must have missed the purple big mouth intake, or the purple decals on the back? that is the color I have been doing as my accent color. These are definitely the most purple item yet. But I think this is about it. Nothing else really is needed

Yep, missed all of that. If I noticed earlier, I probably would have replied, "Purple?" Kinda reminds me of all the dumb fluorescent colors people spent money for cheap add on's in the 90's.
No offense, just not my vibe. Purple the hell outa that thing!

None taken! We all have our opinions and that is cool.
I will say I'm not always sold on the purple, red would definitely be my normal choice. But I wanted to do something different

I get it. Red accent is definitely far more common.

I got the Navicks system installed today. I need to work on the angle since the plate camera is adjustable. But it is working, so far so good, it was raining and heavy fog today, so the camera was all dirty the first test at home. So it will look foggy in the photo. When we have better weather I will clear and do real tests with it.

Going from reverse to drive triggers the camera, and so does holding the power button for about 5 secs triggers it. But when I tried that, it looked like I couldn't

get out of it, but that was first boot up. so it might have been the issue.

Here is a clearer shot of the front camera, and still working on the perfect angle where I want it. But this shows the pole, and where I see the bottom of the pole, it doe look off center, but that is the pole, this camera is on the license plate is centered lol

Latest mod, and might be the last of winter, after doing that swap on the DPFE and having to hold the hood open more for the light for my wife, so I finally got the redline tuning hood struts.

Also as a follow up, the Husky X-Act Contour mats have been a DREAM, I have had no issues, at one point I checked to see if the carpet tab was still snapped in, not only was it still in there, it was even lifting mounts and the carpet when I picked it up. Its SOLID

Ok, Ok .... I had one more left this for this winter. I just upgraded a couple of my air tags, and found these little enclosures that make the airtag have just crazy battery life. So I took one of my old air tags, cut the speaker out. Then installed in the housing with Energizer Ultimate Lithium since they have great temp tolerance, the seller says 10 years of battery, I don't believe it, but maybe.

It has a gasket around the edges so should be pretty protected.
Tossed it in the truck.
Now a cheap tracker for the truck. They could still get the message that an airtag is following them, that is why the speaker is gone.

Ok today was 65 degrees out. Winter is over. Back to projects.

installed the little stubby

also went on a roadtrip with the dog in the back, he is only 17 lbs so I didn’t need to go to crazy, but wanted him a little more comfortable.
I built this platform and added some carpet to make it a little nicer than plain wood.
This was made to remove easily and use it only with the dog. But it’s kinda nice there, I might just leave it for now.

Nice deck, simple. My dog is right around 10lbs so I wanted something that would be flatter, but also allow her see out the windows easier. So I bought an inexpensive bench cushion on Amazon. It's 48x18x4". I added a couple pieces of foam under the back edge to help make it level. Works great. I can still access the belt latch to attach her safety harness. Also works in my wife's Edge.

A couple quick updates.
With the harbor freight days of deals, they had a great deal on their LED offroad bars, so I decided to try this instead of the two lights
I am planning on getting one more light under the license plate area, and then most likely ditch lights and connect them with the garmin powerswitch

I had been using the ford app to quickly unlock the truck if I needed to run to it for something and my parking spot is in a bad spot for signal, it never fails, but its SLOW, like 45 secs to a minute before the command goes through. Which I would like to say I can live with, but sucks too much just standing there when I am just trying to grab something fast. So I have been wanting to add the keypad for quick stuff. I was reading around on here about dealers charging like $100 to install it, and that there isnt a way for us to do it at home. So I found the deal on the website where you can add the install labor for $50 well my local ford dealer is never listed on the site. So I emailed them asking if they would honor the installed price of $181 they said they would.
Took them about an hour to install ( well 40 minutes in they found me and asked me where I wanted the keyboard, so I am thinking really 20 minutes)
Funny enough the factory code is really funny and easier to remember then the one I was going to program so that was a bonus.

I wish it was built into the pillar like my fusion used to have, and I know the newer gen does have, but it doesnt look as bad as I thought it would, probably because of being black.

I will say, I am going to do the battery swap when this thing dies, I would not pay again, and the fact they are building knowing e-waste is crazy
