I'm with @TxOTRRanger - keep up with your maintenance. Advice to new members: Drive more, worry less. This is the only downside of a forum group is we get to hear about everything that could possibly go wrong. Worrying about it only ruins my day and why would I do that?
Yep, getting ready to turn 150,000 here.
Maintain, turn key, drive, enjoy…

GOTTA READ THE FINE PRINT AFTER THE STATEMENT.!!!
I still can’t say a bad word about this Ranger.!!
Yet….
Ha Ha reminds me of a scene from "Working Class Man" where the manic Japanese quality manager after walking down the production line of a US car company they have taken over, spots defects in almost every car, and growing more and more exasperated, finally points at something in the engine bay, and screams at a worker "That, That ( frothing at the mouth) What is That!!!!. The worker calmly replies, that? Aww, that's just something for the dealer to worry about.

They all make junk. I’m at 150,000 miles now.

Sold my 02 Silverado with 345,000 on the clock still ran strong and would pull my old camper anywhere.
But I like my ranger and will keep it and fix what breaks cuz that's me. But I'm going to bitch when it breaks. My chevy's didn't.

If anything, what stands out to me would be how important it has been to the R5G folks to do their maintenance BEFORE the owners manual says we should. Staying on top of fluid changes and being super mindful of actual fluid levels is a must on these trucks in my opinion.
Very much so

My son had a GMC 1500 that was a farm truck so you know it was well maintained right??? 😁. Anyway, it went 328,000 before it finally spun a bearing. He sold it to one of his buddies who put another engine in it and still drives it.

Preach it! Right there with you.

Oh, and when mine does break, I’ll be bitching too. ;)

The blue ones look better, run better, get better mileage, and have 22 more HP than any other color.

:bandit:
I disagree, the Rapid Red looks superbly better, runs awesomely better, gets way better gas mileage, and has 24 more horsepower than any other color.
At 150,000 miles, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. 😁👁😁

Can’t help but feel bad for some folks. They just don’t understand.

On the other hand we are rather strict about exactly who is allowed to represent the most awesome color, so you probably wouldn’t have gotten through the interview process anyway. We keep red, and other options, around just for those type folks.

😁
