You might have to go to a Ford parts site and look the parts up.

Not to revive a dead thread but I just want to give a shoutout and my appreciation to everyone who took part in this thread. The ones that went through the work of creating PDF’s and the ones who shared their troubleshooting knowledge and wiring diagrams.
You all were a huge inspiration and help for me to acquire adaptive cruise on my 2020 XLT Fx4!!!

y’all are the MVP’s!
This was clear and concise info! A tad overwhelming but hey. Gotta put the work in to get results and go the mile!
Cheers to everyone!
:)

So were you successful with the missing harness fix?

Yes! I ended up purchasing this harness. LB3T-14G540-AA. It had the same connectors as what i needed for the canbus wires to jump from IPMA to the A Pillar.
and I just depinned this harness and repinned them into this harness.
Because the purchased harness was like $25 usd. Vs the one needed for behind the front mirror ($80ish usd)

It even had a pair of canbus wires!! So much less work and thought process for me cutting and splicing one of the factory body harnesses.

Man, i really hate that my 1st post here is from an old topic, but im stuck solid with my situation.

So sorry to trouble you all with this, but this is the only place on the web i could find with some knowledgeable people.

I have 2017 3.2 Ranger (European) that came with ACC. It all worked great until my bracket for the radar broke and rattled it around, so it just stopped working even after i fixed that. That was totally on me as i did relocation my self so could fit a steel bumper. Although i did lasted at least 3 years XD

Got the replacement radar, made it perfectly aligned (within 0.1, 0.2 degree), calibration goes all the way, but then it says again (ACC NOT AVAILABLE). DTC i get is U2300:64-AF, so i figured that the new radar isnt paired with the truck. I did follow the PDF tutorial you guys made, but in my Forscan i dont have EASY MODE to edit anything in C-MM, just AS BUILD. (Forscan is fully updated with extended license)

Everything else looks as it should be.
When in plug in my old radar, it says that its out of alignment after the calibration, even if its perfectly balanced.

My local dealer is worthless, so I'm on my own. Been struggling with this for more then a half of the year.

thats the problem... I cant do that as i only have AS BUILT option, and not easy mode like in a tutorial. (or is there another way of doing it that i dont know of)?

Go to this website and enter your VIN# - you can download your (As-Built) data from here

Since there is only 5-Lines of Module Addresses in the CCM, print the downloaded page as a PDF and save the file (for reference)

Find Module Address - (764) this is the Cruise Control Module unless its different for the 2017 (ROW Ranger)

The US Version has 5-Lines

764-01-01 - VIN # 1-4 (In Hex Format)
764-01-02 -Vin # 5-9
764-01-03 -Vin # 10-14
761-01-04 - Vin #15-17
761-01-05 - Features (settings)

Manually input the data you downloaded into the As-Built blocks in Forscan and write the data to the new CCM (if it's a used CCM then overwrite the existing data) if it's a new CCM then the data blocks will be blank
or
alternate procedure - install the old module and download and save the file and or take a snapshot of the data that's on it and then reinstall the new and load the downloaded file that you saved or manually enter the data taken from the snapshot

Also Note - the alignment procedure is 2-part
1. Is the Vertical (Adjustment) - Mechanical with the combination square (level)
2. Is the Scan Tool (Horizontal) - Calibration ensuring its centered (straight)

Looks like it was already done by my local Ford tech, as all the numbers are the same. And as it still has the message "ADAPTIVE CRUISE NOT AVAILABLE" after calibration, Ford tech gave up here.

I did a little more digging during the weekend, and when i go and take a look about moduls info i noticed a difference in calibration level depending on what radar is plugged in...

1st photo in replacement radar, 2nd is the one that came with the car.
IDK if this is any useful clue, or could it be that the replacement one is also busted?

P.S. The new radar probably came from Thailand, where they drive on the wrong side of the road XD if it has any importance

So, to confirm - All of the As-Built files match - Correct

And you are seeing the message - Adaptive Cruise Not Available - on your trucks message display - Correct

If you scan for codes or perform a module self-test (CCM) - Do you see any codes?

And both CCM Modules - produce the mesage - Adaptive Cruise Not Available - Correct

Yup.

The DTC i get for C-MM is always U2300:64-AF.
This one comes back every time i clear all the codes.

Additional DTC i get with the old module is that it isnt physically aligned, even if its within 0.1, 0.2 degree

Is it the IPMA that is providing the code?

Have you performed the calibration procedure for both the CCM and IPMA?

I think the issue is - you need to run both, if i recall the CCM is just a simple garage bay calibration but however the IPMA requires you to start the calibration and drive it for about 15 to 20 minutes - the calibration will (self-guide) you step by step on what to do.

For the tie in - The IPMA and CCM work together and the CCM (provides) the adaptive feature to the standard cruise control. If this were only a standard cruise control system - the CCM would not be installed, and you would only have the IPMA and its not tied into cruise control operation, the adaptive cruise uses the camera for Lane Keeping views

The IPMA is the camera module behind the mirror

I think if you run the IPMA calibration drive - it will fix the issue

I did both. IPMA passes with flying colors and works flawlessly, CCM again passes the calibration but yet again "ADAPTIVE CRUISE NOT AVAILABLE" Both calibrations require me to drive on a highway for a while.

Im THIS CLOSE to start screaming and crying XD
