Growing up and living in New England for 51 years we were always prepared for storms both summer and winter. One thing I learned at an early age was to never (at least try not to) depend on anyone else especially in an emergency. I always did my best to have plenty of supplies like food and fuel, a generator (even if just a small one) to run some lights and some source of back up heat. There's really no excuse up there as most houses had basements and you could always find wood stoves for sale reasonable. I realize things are expensive but you need to start early and accumulate these things over the years. Unfortunately many now are too dependent on others (cough, cough) the government to take care of them.
I realize many of the southern states just don't encounter this type of weather so it's really hard for them to justify having all of this. Those are the ones I feel sorry for and pray they are taken care of quickly. It's terrible to be cold but this weather they're having is beyond just cold it's dangerously cold with all k
“People really need to start realizing that most medicines out there are only there to mask the ailments. Because a patient cured is a patient lost.”I've stopped trusting all the 3 lettered organizations years ago. First they said stop eating butter, milk, eggs and red meat they're bad for you then shoved all these supposed "healthy" things in their place like margarine and all this plant based crap. Now we find out that's worse along with all the seed oils especially cotton seed oil. There's a reason autism and dementia has spiked over the years and it's from the foods we eat and the pills they brainwash you into taking.
I've read numerous studies and have watched tons of videos from Drs from all over the world on cholesterol. They all say the same that the ones who were taking the statins have a higher mortality rate than those that didn't. And it's a huge difference not just a small percentage. The acceptable numbers back in the early 80's was somewhere around the mid 200's and coincidentally those numbers were lowered in the late 80's (1987) when statins became available in the US and have been lowered since. In this same period we've seen the increase of dementia and Alzheimer.
People really need to start realizing that most medicines out there are only there to mask the ailments. Because a patient cured is a patient lost.
There's a lot of truth in this.

You took the words right out of my mouth!!!!! A healthy patient doesn’t use pills. How do I know? My wife was on 11 pills a day at least, and two shots in addition to the pills. Her morning pill dosage looked like a bowl of fruit loops. And she just kept taking every single pill those quacks kept prescribing every time she went back. One pill helped with “this” but caused “that”. So she got a pill for “that” which caused “then”. So she got a pill for “then” which caused, well, you see where I’m going. And guess what, she still died on her 57’th birthday. She met her $2250 deductible by the end of February every year and I could never tell her any different.
Don’t believe big pharmaceutical is n charge? Watch TV for an hour or so and see how many pills you see being pushed. Look at the salaries of some of these pharmaceutical CEO’s and tell me they want us to be healthy! Sorry to rant but this fake garbage fires me up.
