I made a video on why I think the Ford Ranger is still the best choice in the mid-size truck market, then and today. I tried to be as data-driven and fair as possible in my review, looking at (1) Price and Value, (2) Powertrain and Torque, (3) Payload and Towing, (4) Fuel Economy and Range, (5) Off Road Capability, and (6) Reliability and Ownership. Let me know your thoughts and what you would add or remove.

ha! I was thinking the same the other day and played around with the idea of test driving a Ranger Raptor. But, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the SD. I need to be patient.

This is a camera effect. It has to do with the shutter speed. Our eyes don’t pick up the constant on and off of LED lights but cameras do.

Depending on the led, some are powered at a specific frequency. Some are powered via ac and some are powered via a DC voltage that is not constant. The frequency is far too fast for our eyes to pick up but if the frequency is out of sync with the frame rate of the camera, the camera can pick up frames where the led is off and will cause a flicker. If you change the frame rate of the camera the flickering will speed up or slow down until it is gone.
