Gonna miss the ole girl! Not really, it's a beautiful Magnolia with great shade. But that's it's only plus. It drops crap all year long, and it's threatening our septic system. So....adios! Tomorrow is the day weather permitting.

I just did the same thing. Removed two very nice trees and then trenched 3' down along the perimeter of my wooded area to protect the septic field. About 150' in total. Big job that should last for the rest of the time that I am on this earth!

BTW, You have a beautiful view.

Gone! And the lilac bush that never bloomed also. Stump to be removed later.

Bonus point for not felling it over to patio :)

Video would have been nice..
LOL! Yeah, I was still at work when they started. When I got home there was only 2, 30-40' trunks remaining. These guys were well recommended, and with a crew of 8, they were there for less than 3 hours. Including removing two big bushes.

Haven’t been on here much lately mainly because ‘Ol Butterscorch is performing perfectly.

We went back to Key West in July to take our grandson on a once in a lifetime epic journey (because I’m not driving down there again😆). Here are some pics from our vacation.

Last time we were in Key West was a few years ago in February. Perfect time of the year to visit Fla. But I also visited in 1990 on a military operation in the Navy. I was wading in water off the beach when I stepped on a stingray. Poked a hole in my foot. I don't know what's in a ray's barb, but holy mutha that hurt!

I heard a stingray’s bard was very painful.😳
There was a lot of seaweed along the edge of the water at the beach. Thank the Lord we didn’t step on anything.
