I do have a 1" spacer level kit on the front. Currently running the stock 32"s. What's the biggest tire I can run with the stock wheels/rims? Not planning to do any cutting/trimming.

I think the skinny 33s ( 255/80 r17 )should fit fine but don't like the "pizza-cutter" look.

cheers!

Not sure if you would consider installing high clearance crash bars or just removing the OEM ones all together, but with a 1" level like you have, you can run 285/70/17.

I run 285/70/17 KO2 with 1" level and 1" wheel spacers, had to remove the crash bars but high clearance ones should do the trick too. Another Tremor owner on IG has a 1" level, no wheel spacers but said he had to remove his crash bars too.

Depending on how you feel about crash bars, at least you can buy high clearance ones if you really want them.

You can get a 295/70R17 with removed or high clearance crash bars with a 1" spacer.

Looks great! How much did this effect your fuel mileage?

Technically my speedometer is off, but it seems about the same. I drove from Vegas to CA to get these and the alignment done at my buddies shop. Filling up before the trip each way and my fuel was about the same, technically had more fuel left going home so it might have improved hwy MPG but I would guess it dinged my city mpg some.

In the end, it is close enough to the stock Tremor MPG that I do not think it made a huge difference. My speed is 1-2mph faster than the speedometer. I will wait till I get a tuner to fix it since I hear it takes some fine tuning depending on the tire make and model, despite the mathematical diameter.

Not yet, my buddies shop only had 4 in stock and have procrastinated a bit. Per other threads here, it will fit. Visually, it seems it will be tight but should fit.

The other person you know to have a Tremor with 285/70/R17 is only running a 1" lift and, crash bar removal/low profile ones, and no spacers?
I'm trying to avoid spacers

Yeah that dude never ran spacers but I believe removed his crash bars. For sure no spacers though. I don't know him personally but we have chatted on IG here n there. He recently got a ZR2 Bison but here is his youtube channel. I have to check on IG, DM me if you need his IG too.

That's nuts, I think I'm hitting up Discount Tire tomorrow provided everything goes well today with removal and re-install of the crash bars and the lift. Maybe they'll be nice enough to put both sizes on and we can get definitive if things rub or not

Alright guys, if you're planning on doing a level kit DIY, F***.... That was probably the hardest install I have ever done, and I've dropped transmissions and changed clutches!!

At some point Ford switched from aluminum to steel for the steering knuckle making all the videos of Stage3 and other DIY videos look 14,000x easier than it is.

I'll be writing up a break down of the instal with pictures but holy fu**, I am SORE today.

Man, I got lucky that the Ford Ranger Lift owner is in Vegas, he knocked my 1" level out in an hour or maybe less, we chatted a little during the job too. Did you do the 2" or 1"? I think all Tremor got the steel knuckle, I kinda wish we had aluminum for less weight but the bearings probably like steel more.

265/65/17 is the stock size over here for 17" rims. And we've always had the steel knuckles. The only truck with an aluminum knuckle was the Raptor version.

In every video that someone is putting the level kit on, it's an aluminum knuckle but I figured the Tremor was gonna be different. I got the 2" level, it sits a little squatted when you get the measuring tape out but from a normal perspective its plumb dead level.

On top of it being a nightmare to do, I couldn't get the control arm out of its spot and essentially needed Thors bloody hammer to get it out. I somehow in the process of using the hammer, managed to get the bolt to unscrew a little bit, and stripped the damn threads on the passenger side.... On a Friday.... At 6:30PM.......

Luckily I was able to chase the threads and get it to work but holyyyy chit... that was a bear.

I eventually got it out with another set of hands helping hold the pitman puller along with modifying it slightly so the point wouldn't walk on the soft metal of the control arm ball joint.
