I am new to the forum so bear with me . I have a 2023 ranger xlt . The first time I hooked up my small trailer my truck went through the trailer profile process . I put in all the information for that trailer and all was good. Since that time I added a Redarc Tow Pro Elite break controller for my camper. I tried to add the camper to my trailer profiles but now I can’t find the profile option anywhere. Could it be the controller or the truck.

I don't think there is a 'profile' (I could be wrong). When ever you attach a trailer it will ask you the length. That's all there is, as far as I know.

hmm. I have a 2020 so it may be different, but mine doesn't ask for weight. It just wants to know the length so it can adjust the blis detection range. I think it also shows up somewhere in the dash menus, but don't recall, I don't tow very often.

I may disconnect the break controller and see if it will come up . It came up by itself the first time without having to prompt it.

I'm assuming the battery was disconnected when the brake controller was installed, that might have wiped its memory.

Same for my 21021 Lariat....just asks for length. Weight and height wouldn't be of any help/concern to the blis.

I can’t even get the length to come up. I press the trailer button and the trailer light comes on the dash but it doesn’t prompt me to put in a length .

Agreed, on my 2019 XLT I have I believe three slots I can enter trailer lengths into. When I plug the trailer in I can go into the menus and select A, B or C trailer. If I don't it defaults to A. Nothing to do with weight, simply adjusts the BLIS distance. Nothing called a profile.

Are you pressing the (Tow/Haul) Button in the center console?
That has nothing to do with Trailer Connected, that adjusts transmission shift points, mainly on downhill grades to help in braking (slowing the truck) down and less effort on the brakes.

Its in the IPC menus - LH Switch and it adjusts Blind Spot (adapts the BLIS modules) for the extra length of the connected trailer.

Just to educate the new. When you plug a trailer into the back of the truck. The truck detects that the trailer was connected, it then disables the rear parking sensors and the rear cross-traffic alarms. It also adjusts the BLIS signals based on the trailer length(s) entered/selected. This all happens automatically the first time you hit the brake peddle. Several warning alerts will come up on the dash. The first time connecting a trailer it will prompt for a trailer length if one hasn't been entered. The lengths can be edited/selected using the IPC menus.
